James Anderton

About

James trained at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music & Drama and began his career in Stage Management before moving into Production Management. He has since worked on more than 150 productions across the West End, UK and international tours, regional theatre, and opera.

His work spans large-scale commercial musicals, new writing, touring productions, and opera, with a reputation for collaboration, calm problem-solving, and delivering ambitious work to the highest standard.

Opera

James has worked on numerous productions for Scottish Opera, English National Opera, and English Touring Opera, and he is the Production Manager for Buxton Opera Festival.
